Wow!  We are already halfway through summer.  This year is quickly passing by and I haven’t seen you in quite awhile.  Lots has happened in my life since I saw you last. 

Early in April, my older sister took a nasty fall and ended up in the hospital.  She had become weaker and unwell over the last year and the fall just became too much for her. After a short stay at Grace Hospice, she passed away on June 6^th.  I was very close to my sister.  We spent a lot of time together and even traveled together several times over the years. I miss her all the time and need my crafting to help keep me going.

My international trek for this year has changed from Charity Challenge to Flashpacker; but is still going to trek Mount Blanc between Switzerland, France and Italy.  I know that it will be a fantastic adventure, and I have been busy booking all the necessary arrangements to get me there and home again. 

Now, it is time for us to gather and make some cards.  The Cheers & Sip bundle has motivated me to hold a class this summer.  When you register, please confirm the date and time you want to attend the class.  And please do so as soon as possible to give me time to prepare your card kit for the class.
