Welcome to Craft Camp 25!
I'm so excited to be bringing this to you again this year.
When: Thursday 26th or Friday 27th through to Sunday 29th June, you decide 2 or 3 nights.
Location: St John Waddington Youth Camp, Guy Dunlop Training Centre, 55 Waddington Road, Waddington 7500. This is about a 10 minute drive along the Highway from Darfield.
Arrival: I will be arriving at 10am, while camp doesn’t officially start until after Dinner on Thursday night, please feel free to arrive anytime after 10am and start crafting. I will be setting up and getting everything organised for a great weekend. Please BYO lunch and Dinner, Darfield has a great bakery, cafes, fish and chip shop, pizza shop, Four Square, pub or Sheffield has their great pie shop where you can purchase food.
Food: Denise, Debbie and James will be our Cooks for the weekend. You will remember Denise and Debbie from last year and James is my hubby. The kitchen has facilities to cook Gluten Free separately. BYO Alcohol if you would like and a wine glass, this is a kids camps so they don’t have wine glasses. Tea and Coffee will be supplied as will all meals from Supper Thursday to Lunch on Sunday.
Medical: Please make sure I have contact details for your emergency contact. If you have anything that you think might be useful for medical staff in the event of an emergency, please write down and put in a sealed envelope with your name on the front and hand to me upon arrival at camp. This will remain sealed unless you need medical assistance and are unable to communicate yourself. Your envelope will be given back to you sealed at the end of camp.
Sleeping arrangements: We have 10 rooms in the dorm we are sleeping in, each room has 4 bottom bunks. There are two toilet blocks within the dorm. Please bring your own bedding, bottom sheet, duvet/sleeping bag and pillow. Room are fitted with a heater.
Crafting: You will be given all items necessary to create 5 double page layouts or 18 cards. Bring your own crafting supplies as you normally would to craft days.
Shopping: I will have some Stampin' Up! Goodies for sale over the weekend and happy to take any orders.
Internet is available however cell reception isn’t fantastic at camp. Bring your phone/laptop chargers.
Clothing: Please bring some! It can get cold at Camp especially as its winter so bring some warm clothing.
Cost: $320 for the full 3 nights Thursday, Friday and Saturday. $280 if staying for just Friday and Saturday nights. A deposit of $50 is payable within 7 days of registering and Camp must be paid in Fully by Friday 13th June. Payments can be made into the Wee Bee Crafty Bank account 03-1553-0022802-000. Please use your name and ‘Craft Camp’ as details. Feel free to start paying off your camp at any time convenient to yourself.
